Long time no see! This year has been a year of wai

Long time no see! This year has been a year of waiting, and a lot of plans continually had to be pushed back. I'm glad that most of the stuff I've had to deal with this year was finalized right in time of Christmas. Now, I get to look forward and continue with building this business. ⁣
⁣
So what will be in store for Dreaming up North in 2020? I have started working on a few different collections/designs that hopefully will be released in time of summer. The website will be up and running in Norwegian, too. There is a lot of articles that are currently being planned, and some of them are already ready for the blog. However, I've decided that I will release these when I've gained a little more momentum so that I can post regularly when I first start posting. I'm also looking into another few exciting oppurtunities that are too early to reveal at this point.⁣
I'm grateful for a new year with a lot of new experiences!⁣

I want to end this post by wishing you all a happy new year! This Christmas has been a time of reflecting for the Norwegians as @ari.behn tragically ended his life on the 25th of December. We always seem to be so surprised when a bright person that chooses to share their light with the world also makes the tragic choice of ending their life (if one even can call it a choice). I guess the more someone has felt the darkness, they understand too well how much the world is in need of some love and light. Must we open our ears, eyes, and hearts in 2020, so that we can tend to each other in the best way we are capable of.⁣
⁣
There sure is a lot of darkness in the world we're living in, but we must never forget that there is a lot of magic, beauty, and wonder as well. Let's help each other find and keep it! ❤️⁣

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about what direction I want to go with my photography because I have not been feeling fulfilled. I realized that I’ve started to fixate only on ”safe” photographs, that I know will get likes. I also found that I began to feel less passionate and creative when the number of likes became the goal.⁣
That is changing today!⁣
I have been feeling a deep-rooted need to pursue my photography more experimentally and creatively. ⁣
I guess I’m finding my voice.. ⁣
